Sylvan Learning and the Boys and Girls Club of Texas!
Sylvan Learning franchisees across Texas have formed an alliance with The Boys and Girls Club to provide free tutoring to select students in specific Boys and Girls Clubs. The partnership is part of a multi-year grant funded by the Texas Education Agency.
So far to date, the program has helped over 2000 kids in grades K - 8 perform better in reading or math.
Sylvan of Houston Supports Local Non-profit Literacy Foundation!
Since 2008, Sylvan Learning of Houston has partnered with the Monica Boyd Literacy Foundation. Ms. Boyd decided to form her non-profit foundation after her children came to the Sylvan Learning Center in Baytown and made dramatic progress with their reading.
