Deanna"Our daughter Deanna attends the Sylvan Learning Center in Coventry, RI for the Reading and Math programs and we can't say enough about them. For the first time we feel we have made the right decision regarding our daughter's education. For years Deanna has struggled in school and was diagnosed as learning delayed. She has an IEP and although we think her current special education teacher is doing a great job she can only do so much. She is currently in the 5th grade and when she was tested by Sylvan she was lacking in skills as far back as 1st grade. Over the years Deanna has attended school on Saturdays and during the summer in addition to regular school and this only helped her catch up slightly. We were worried that this was going to be her last year in elementary school and feared what would happen when she went to middle school. I also tried to tutor her myself but I couldn't consistently keep it going. We only wish we had thought of putting her in Sylvan sooner. - Ronald and Anna |
