Sylvan Math Essentials
Sylvan's Math Essentials Program provides all students with specific instruction on basic computation skills, problem solving, measurement, graphing, equations, and numeration. The program addresses mastery as well as application of mathematical concepts.

Reading
Sylvan Academic Reading
Designed for all students, Sylvan's Academic Reading Program helps students to develop both the basic skills and the higher level critical thinking skills needed for success in reading.
Sylvan Beginning Reading
Benefits early learners by giving them a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning and enjoyment through reading. It will reinforce basic skills and help build confidence for students ranging from Pre-K to 2nd grade, as well as older students. Sylvan Beginning Reading is a multisensory, interactive approach which aligns with school standards and implements best practices based on the latest research.
Book Adventure
FREE to ALL readers through 8th grade! Log on to www.bookadventure.com to select a book by reading level or topic. Find the book at your local library and then dive into the fun! Book Adventure provides interactive quizzes, games and comprehension activities that students can earn prized and certificates of achievement. Log on anytime from home!
Sylvan Academic Reading

Academic Writing
Designed for students 4th grade and up to improve writing skills, the program teaches the process approach to writing paragraphs, letters, and essays, while stressing the fundamentals of capitalization, punctuation, and sentence building. Editing skills are also sharpened.
