Sylvan Academic Reading
Grades: 2 – 12. Reading program focusing on individual pinpointed needs. Comprehension, Vocabulary and Phonics/Spelling Development. This program is designed to master reading strategies, improve comprehension, increase fluency, and develop vocabulary and spelling skills.

- Master the five step writing process from pre-writing through publishing
- Use proper techniques for paragraph and essay development
- Increase vocabulary and improving spelling
- Improve grammar and usage skills, including parts of speech, subject-verb agreement and more
Academic Writing
Designed for students 4th grade and up to improve writing skills, the program teaches the process approach to writing paragraphs, letters, and essays, while stressing the fundamentals of capitalization, punctuation, and sentence building. Editing skills are also sharpened.

Study Skills program focusing on individual pinpointed needs with focus on application and independence. Organization and Time Management, Note-taking, Reading and Study Strategies and Test Prep.
