It's Been Two Years!
Dear Families,
On January 29th, we celebrated our two year anniversary of owning this Elk Grove Sylvan Learning. When we both joined Sylvan in 2004, we had no idea it would lead to us taking over this location. Our families have always encouraged us to dream big, and this was a big step. We took the leap in the winter of 2007 and didn’t look back.
We’ve had a great two years. We want to thank our staff who stayed with us through our transition into ownership and those who’ve recently come on board to join our team. Elk Grove Sylvan Learning wouldn’t be what it is today without our fabulous group of teachers and teaching assistants.
We’ve also enjoyed meeting and working with new families and community leaders in Elk Grove. Elk Grove has welcomed us with open arms and we’re thankful for the strong relationships and support given to us by families and local business owners.

Camp Sum Fun: A fun approach for your child to improve understanding of basic addition and subtraction skills, while increasing speed and accuracy. (Grades 2-4)

Each workshop is 10 hours long and you can schedule those hours at your convenience. No extra assessments necessary.

We're Unpacked and Moved into our New Location!
We are moved in! On Sunday June 7th, Two Men and a Truck moved all the heavy equipment while Shannon and Monica boxed and figured out where things were going in our new home.
Our new address is 9261 Laguna Springs Drive, Ste 120. We are right behind BJ’s Restaurant, near Laguna Blvd & Hwy 99.
Sylvan Learning Products Win National Parenting Publications Award
Sylvan Learning Products, which are books and kits recently released by Random House, are a 2009 Honors National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) winner!

After a combined 8 years of Sylvan experience, we decided to purchase the Elk Grove Sylvan in the fall of 2007. We officially took ownership on January 29, 2008. It’s been a busy year and we’ve loved every minute of it. Our main priority is our students. We are committed to maintaining a comfortable, caring, kind, confident, and safe environment for our students.
