Plan Ahead for Summer
I realize it seems too early, but summer is right around the corner, and I want to encourage you to start thinking NOW about what that means.
Summer is NOT the time to take breaks! Kids lose at least 20% of what they learn in school during the summer. K-3rd graders may lose even more. Students should be working on some sort of academic program during the summer.
Summer is a great time to work on math skills and strategies because you don't have to worry about correlating with school curriculum. We can go back as far as we need to in order to teach these skills so the student never struggles in math again.
Summer is a good time for the ACT and SAT preparation classes. They both have quite a bit of homework that is hard to complete during the school year. We work on the prep classes during he summer and then offer a "refresher" the week before the actual test.

SAT Prep
SAT PREP is a 30 hour program which includes vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, English composition, basic math, Algebra I and II, Geometry, and three SAT practice tests with diagnostic score reports. The program features a comprehensive course book complete with lessons and homework sets. Students have access to a website to reinforce the skills learned in class.
