Part Time Teacher

Our programs are designed to help students improve their academic skills, build their self- confidence, and guide them to success.
We have a number of programs that are individualized for our students. We train each teacher in a variety of programs depending on interest and certification background. These programs include: reading, writing, math, study skills and SAT Prep.

Associate Director of Education

Sylvan Learning Center is seeking an Assoc. Director of Education. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, enthusiastic and has a passion for delivering high-quality educational services to children K-12. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent organizational skills and work closely with a team that is dedicated to meeting the educational needs of each of our students. Sylvan provides a thorough training program for the right candidate. Teaching certification is required.

As a successful Assoc. Director of Education, you will champion the Sylvan developed curriculum, manage and ensure the quality of the education standards and teaching staff. You will communicate with parents to keep them informed on program progress and make recommendations to alter program prescriptions. You will administer Sylvan Skills Assessments, write and recommend goal-based programs for Sylvan Students as well as monitor programs for performance, establish relationships and communications with students’ teachers for insights on school progress, and create a positive learning environment during all phases of the instructional program.

In addition to State certification, candidates must have a minimum on a Bachelor’s degree, two years experience and strong communication skills.
