The Huntington Sylvan Learning Center helps students learn how to become self-motivated, independent, and most importantly approach school, as well as life, with confidence. Our tutoring programs are available both when school is in session, as well as during the summer with additional instructional hours. Homework Strategies: Taking the Stress Out of Homework Time. Call today to register for our next free seminar for parents on how to help your children with homework. The objective of this workshop is to assist parents in helping their children develop the skills needed to be more independent when it comes to completing homework. We will discuss a systematic approach to making homework time more effective and less time-consuming.
