Susan Stretchberry
Center Director
Susan was born in Indianapolis and is a graduate of Franklin College. She earned her Master's Degree from Indiana University. Susan has taught fourth and first grades in Ohio and Colorado. She has been involved in the corporate world as a Financial Planner and VP of Marketing. Susan is happy to be involved with education again. She is very impressed with the results that Sylvan produces both in the academic growth and self-confidence of the students.
Lindsey Meyer
Lead Teacher-SENSE Charter School
Lindsey earned her B.S in Elementary Education at Ball State University. She taught at Worthmore Academy on the east side of Indianapolis in 2006. Lindsey started at Sylvan as a teacher and worked her way up to becoming a Director of Education. She has since transitioned into the Lead Teacher role at SENSE Charter School in Indianapolis. She has especailly enjoyed working with the students at SENSE and watching them grow by one to two grade levels!
Connie Joslin
Test Administrator
Connie graduated in 1978 from God's Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a B.A. in History and Psychology. She spent 21 years in an elementary classroom at Nazarene Christian Schools. Connie is now working part-time at Nazarene Christian school and working one Saturday a month as the Test Administrator.
Lisa Franklin
Director of Education/Test Administrator
Lisa graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Lisa began as instructor at the Center four years ago. As her children entered elementary school, Lisa transitioned to the Test Administrator role in the fall of 2008. In 2009, Lisa added Director of Education to her resume. Lisa's new position allows her to work closely with parents to help their children succeed in school.
Julie Weiss
Director of Education
Julie joined our staff from a Sylvan Center in Delaware. Since Sylvan Learning Centers are individually owned and operated, she has brought some great ideas from her previous employer to our Sylvan. Julie especially enjoys working with Math students and encouraging them to work toward their full potential.
