Carol Galbraith is a former high school English teacher who taught for 22 years before buying the Lafayette Sylvan 14 years ago. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English, speech and theater, and psychology and her Masters Degree in Secondary Education. She is active in numerous community groups, and is a former member of the Chamber Board of Directors, the March of Dimes Board of Directors, a past president of Lafayette Business to Business, and a past chair of the Chamber Education Committee.
Anna is a graduate of Ball State University. She has worked for Sylvan since 2000. Anna has been involved in many local organizations such as Golden Apple Awards, Junior Achievement, and past chair of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce Education Committee.
Chrissy is a 2001 graduate of Purdue University and has been with the Lafayette Center since 2004. She is also active in the Lafayette Breakfast Optimist Club, Tippecanoe Co. 4-H, Junior Achievement and the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce Golden Apple Committee.
Graduated from Purdue University in December 2004. Erika worked for three years at North Montgomery High School as a special services teacher. Erika started at Sylvan as a part-time teacher and in summer of 2008 accepted the position as Director of Education.
Erin has been at Sylvan since November 2009. She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 2007 with a licensure in Elementary Education and Elementary Special Education. She has been in the education field for almost 8 years. She also enjoys going to sporting evenst for her three boys and cheerleading camps for her daughter.
My name is Justin Klyczek and I'm a teacher at Rossville. My wife and I were married on 7/7/7 and have a beautiful daughter who was born on 1/1/11. I'm a huge Cubs fan, as well as, an avid bowler. I also coach my school's bowling team and help out with the baseball program. All in all, my life is busy and satisfying.
Mike graduated from Purdue University with a BA in Political Science with concentrations in History and Computer and Information Technology in May 2010. He's currently working on an MA in Political Science at Purdue, researching Social Media and the Internet in American Politics. Mike hopefully would like to one day be a College Professor in either Political Science or Political Communication. In his free time, Mike loves professional ice hockey, baseball, disc golf, live music, reading, and movies.
Amy is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She is currently an ESL and reading remediation teacher. In addition to teaching, Amy is also a coach for the Varsity and JV cheerleaders from Rossville High School. In her spare time, she enjoys reading mystery novels, shopping, and traveling with her husband.
Michael is a student at Purdue University with a focus in Math Education. His expected graduation date is in the spring of 2013. He is a football manager for Purdue and was a former football player in high school. Michael has tutored in math for over 2 years and has worked in numerous school corporations. Michael is from Griffith, IN which is 30 minutes east of Chicago and at the tip of Lake Michigan. Michael plans to become a math teacher once he graduates from Purdue and started instructing at Sylvan to become a better teacher.
