Leaders of Tomorrow
Sylvan is a sponsor of Volunteer Lethbridge's Leaders of Tomorrow Porgram. The "LEADERS OF TOMORROW" YOUTH VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION PROGRAM, is held annually in conjunction with National Volunteer Week, and recognizes youth between the ages of five and twenty four years, who have made outstanding contributions to their community through volunteerism. By recognizing these exceptional volunteers, the "Leaders of Tomorrow" Awards will inspire other students to give of themselves to benefit the community.
Individuals, community groups, educational institutions and voluntary organizations are invited to nominate young people who deserve recognition for their devotion to helping others. Nominations closed on Friday March 4, 2011.
Last year's "Leaders of Tomorrow" Awards and Recognition Event was held on April 20, 2010 at the Lethbridge Lodge and Convention Centre. There were142 amazing youth volunteers recognized, including seven Volunteer Excellence Award winners. This year's recognition event will be held on Tuesday April 12 at the Lethbridge Lodge.
