The Tarzana Sylvan Learning Center helps students learn how to become self-motivated, independent, and most importantly approach school, as well as life, with confidence. Our tutoring programs are available both when school is in session, as well as during the summer with additional instructional hours. State Approved SES Provider
Sylvan Learning Center of Tarzana is authorized to serve students in select areas with supplemental educational services (SES) through the No Child Left behind Act. Our curriculum for this service includes both reading and math.
In order to be eligible for SES in the state of California, your child must attend a Authorized Title One school and be eligible for free or reduced lunch. If you think your child may be eligible for SES, it is imperative that you contact the guidance office immediately upon enrollment to register them for SES.

When School is Out Sylvan is In!!
School Breaks are a great time to catch up and help your child increase their academic progress. During School Breaks a student's classwork stops and they have the ability to learn skills that may have been missed in previous grades, refresh skills just learned, or learn new skills that will support them when school resumes.
Sylvan offers additional morning hours during Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Break as well as most School Holidays.
Take advantage of these hours to help your child grow.
