Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

Jenny Birk
Center Director
JENNY BIRK is a graduate of Kansas State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. She is certified in English and Speech/Theatre/Drama. Jenny has seven years of teaching and forensics coaching experience. She also has enjoyed five years of teaching at Sylvan, as a Master Teacher, prior to beginning her directorship. Jenny enjoys reading, spending time with her family and attending various youth events in her community.
Gavin Garman
Center Director
Gavin Garman received his B.S. in Education from Kansas Wesleyan and his M.A. Educational Administration and Leadership from Kansas State University. He has experience with students from elementary through high school level. Gavin was a teacher at Sylvan before becoming a Director of Education. He is an avid sports fan, especially K-State football, and also enjoys hunting.
