Dear Sylvan:

I wanted to write to share the happy news that my son, Jesse, has been admitted to Seton Hall University.

It has been a long road for us since Jesse first attended the Sylvan Learning center in the 8th grade, when he could barely keep his focus to get through the placement test. Patiently in short bites, you helped him get through reading critically, basic math and algebra.  Last year, several sessions of the Sylvan SAT Prep program helped him improve his score by 210 points!

Through the work of your teachers and staff, Jesse has learned how to learn.  Sylvan always treated Jesse with respect and helped him find a way out of failure - an important lesson for all of us to learn.   He worked hard and gained the confidence that he could indeed succeed in school.
