Meet the Tutors
Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

- Develop a personalized learning plan based on your child’s goals
- Offer unique insights about what will work for your child
- Teach each lesson the way your child learns best

Jo Baker
Center Director
Jo received her B.S. Degree from Park University. She served 15 years in the United States Air Force as a Finance and Budget Officer. She has one child, David.
Kelly Lohman
Director of Education
Kristen received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education from the University of Central Florida. Before joining Sylvan, she was an elementary school teacher in Orange County. Kelly describes her experiences as a teacher as "nothing short of amazing". This is evidence by her recognition as a "STAR" teacher and mentor of the year.
