READING IMPROVED BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS!

"I just wanted to take a minute to thank you (and all the teachers at Sylvan) for the great experience Matthew had at Sylvan. He studied with you all for 72 hours between August and May and I cannot believe the results that we have seen. I don’t know how you do it, but he actually LOVED coming to every session. Even on Saturdays!! When we started with you in August as a second grader, he was reading at .9 grade level (which equates to the 9th month of Kindergarten). Just last week, he read a 3.8 book (which equates to 8 months into the 3rd grade) on his own and passed a reading comprehension test on it. Not only did his reading improve by leaps and bounds, but his overall confidence has grown as well. At the beginning of the school year it was like pulling teeth to get him to sit down and read his required 20 minutes per day, but now, he actually enjoys reading!!! Thank you SO much. We really appreciate your time, teaching and patience!!"
