The Pembroke Pines Sylvan Learning Center helps students learn how to become self-motivated, independent, and most importantly approach school, as well as life, with confidence. Our tutoring programs are available both when school is in session, as well as during the summer with additional instructional hours. We are constantly looking for new ways for Pembroke Pines Sylvan to better help students achieve success. Sylvan / FCA Partnership
Sylvan Learning of South Florida is proud to announce its partnership with FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) to work with student athletes throughout Dade and Broward Counties to assiste them in achieving their goals of continuing their athletic careers in college. Sylvan developed the Student Athlete Program to work with student athletes in all sports on improving their overall grades as well as SAT / ACT scores. This is imperative for athletes to move to the next level: college.
Sylvan also provides programs such as Diag Days, Seminar Series, and toher programs to teams, schools, and other organizations. If you feel that your group can benefit from our programs, please call us at 954-517-1802 and we will be happy to meet with you to discuss your group's goals and objectives.

It's never too early to start planning! Below is the schedule for our ACT courses for the upcoming school year. There is a specific course for each test so, once you know which test you will be taking, you can find the appropriate start date. Call or email the center if you would like to enroll in a program.

I had a wonderful experience visiting Local 10 News. Laurie Jennings was a polite anchor woman and was very informative. She was extremely intelligent and enlightened me with her occupation. I appreciate that she took time to explain in detail how the newscast works. Her tour, knowledge, personality, and courtesy impressed me and made me appreciate her and her work more. She gave me an insight to her hectic life and taught me how the news works, which I may add is very intriguing. I enjoyed being “backstage” and watch the news that I watch daily on the television. I felt honored to have been chosen as a winner. The SAT prep class itself has been a fantastic experience. My teacher Danny has taught me several key test taking tricks that I am positive will help me out in the SAT. I would like to thank Sylvan for giving me this opportunity to enhance my knowledge.
