Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

John Bachmeier
Executive Director/Center Director
John Bachmeier joined the Sylvan staff in Sept of 1998. He has a Masters Degree in Political Sciences from University of North Dakota.

Scott Miller
Director of Education
Scott joined the Sylvan staff in April of 2005, and became a director in June of 2006. He has a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education of Math from the University of Nebraska.

Pearl VanHoove

Pearl joined the Sylvan staff in August of 2006. She has a Bachelors Degree in Technology Education from California University of Pennsylvania.

Amanda joined the Sylvan staff in August of 2009. She has a Bachelors Degree in Secondary English Education from the University of West Florida. Her favorite things to teach at Sylvan are Reading and Math.

Ashley Parkhurst
Administrative Assistane/Teacher
Ashley joined the Sylvan staff in Sept of 2010. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the Philadelphia Biblical University. Her favorite thing to teach here at Sylvan is reading.

Denise Green
Teacher
Denise joined the Sylvan staff in October of 1996. She has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from the University of West Florida. Her favorite thing to teach here at Sylvan is any Math and any Science.

Eleanore joined the Sylvan staff in June of 2001. She has an Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Her favorite things to teach here at Sylvan are Reading and Math.

Espanita joined the Sylvan staff in October of 2006. She has a Masters Degree in Education from Florida A&M University. Her favorite thing to teach here at Sylvan is Reading.

Chelsea Mosko
Teacher
Chelsea rejoined the Sylvan staff in October of 2007. She has a Bachelors Degree in Biological Science from Florida State University, a Masters Degree in Plant Science (Molecular Biology/Genetics) from Alabama A&M University, and 4 years post grad research/teaching from Florida State University. Her favorite things to teach at Sylvan are High School Math, ACT prep, Advanced Reading, and Science.

Leslie joined the Sylvan staff in October of 2008. She has a Bachelors Degree in Creative Writing and English Literature from the University of Arizona. Her favorite things to teach here at Sylvan are Reading, Math, and ACT prep.
