Paula recently joined the Sylvan team in Sheffield, Ohio as the Center Director. Paula has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She is pursuing her Master's Degree from the University of Phoenix.
Debbie began at Sylvan at the Boardman, OH location from 1993-1997 and is now back teaching part time here in Sheffield, since spring 2008. She holds a B.A. in Secondary Education, Mathematics from Youngstown State University, 1993. She also has an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University, 2007. Debbie taught 2 years at an alternative school in Medina and then began teaching at Elyria High School, where she has remained for the last 10 years. When Debbie is not at Sylvan she enjoys antiquing, cross stitching, and professional cake decorating.
Sandy began as Sylvan instructor in 2002. She holds a B.S. in History and Political Science from Bowling Green State University, 1963, an M.Ed. in European History from Bowling Green State University, 1968 and a Ph.D Candidate in French History from Kent State University, 1973. Sandy has taught at both the high school and university level and was a part time history professor at LCCC and Tri-C as well as a full time history professor at Kent State University. She has also taught in American international schools in Venezuela and Kuwait.

Ellie began tutoring for Sylvan in 2007. She holds a B.A. in Middle Childhood Education from Malone University, 2005. Ellie began her teaching career as a substitute teacher for Avon, Westlake, and Midview in 2005 and 2006. The following year she accepted a full time position teaching 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies in the Warrensville Heights City Schools.
