Meet the Tutors
The tutors of South Miami Sylvan Learning Center are all Sylvan trained and certified so that they can best address your child’s academic needs. Our tutors are dedicated to working closely with you and your child in order to help your child reach his or her goals. We start by pinpointing your child’s strengths and areas for improvement through the Sylvan Skills Assessment®. From there, our South Miami staff develops a personalized learning plan for your child and offers unique insights about what methods will work best with your child. Ultimately, our tutors will build a relationship with your child and provide a fun, engaging, and rewarding learning environment. The South Miami Sylvan Learning Center staff consists of highly experienced and established educational professionals who take great pride in their work with students who want to catch up, keep up, or get ahead.

With over 25 years of marketing and account management experience, and a Master in Business Administration, I came back to my first field of interest - education. As Center Director, I am able to utilize my business background in a learning environment. I am privileged to work with an amazing Director of Education; certified, trained, and caring instructors; and wonderful kids and families. My goal is to help our students achieve their potential by providing them with excellence in supplemental education, customized to meet their needs and surpass their expectations. By working with their parents and school teachers, we strive to provide the best learning experience for our students to encourage confidence and a love of learning.
