SAT SCORE REPORT UPDATE
Overwhelmingly, most of our students, at all levels of ability, are reporting outstanding score increases on their recent SAT and ACT Score Reports. Our average increase in scores for these students are 175+ points for SAT and 4+ points for ACT.
During the last five school years, 2007-2008 to 2011-2012, 9 out of 10 of our SAT students reported: 15% 250+ point increase, 20% 200+ point increase, and 65% 150+ increase. 9 out of 10 of our ACT students reported: 20% 6+ point increase, 20% 5+ point increase, and 60% 4+ increase.
"We are really proud of our students' hard work and committment to our comprehensive test prep. They were rewarded with terrific scores, admission to the 'college of their dreams' and outstanding scholarships," stated Richard Remenih, College Test Prep Director and Coach.
SSAT and HSPT Test Prep Success
2010 - 2011 School Year: 100% of our 8th-grade students competed successfully this past winter for placement in area private and Catholic high schools: Tampa Catholic, Jesuit, Academy of the Holy Names, Tampa Preparatory School and Berkeley Preparatory School. Our SSAT and HSPT test prep course greatly enhanced their chance of acceptance. We applaud their great competitive effort and success. The first step is a FREE practice test. New courses will begin in the Fall.
Free Trees and Plants / Fourth Grade Foresters
Thank you for your support of the Fourth Grade Foresters USA project(at Roosevelt Elementary in South Tampa).Your support has helped to get more than 138,000 trees into the hands of fourth graders since the project began in 1996. We continue to work hard to keep the project growing.
