High School Admissions Tests
High school admissions tests are required by most independent and parocial high schools in the Tampa Bay area as part of the admissions policy. SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) is used for admission to independent high schools: Berkeley Preparatory School and Tampa Preparatory School. HSPT (High School Placement Test)is used for admission to parochial high schools: Academy of the Holy Names, Jesuit High School of Tampa and Tampa Catholic.
