Director of Education

Sylvan Learning of Austin has an immediate opening for a Director of Education at the center in South Austin.

The Director of Education is responsible for center operations and ensuring successful educational outcomes for Sylvan students.

Responsibilities include:

- overseeing individual learning plans for each student

- ensuring Sylvan processes and systems are followed

- effective communication with parents

- recruiting, training, and managing the teaching staff

- monitoring instruction to ensure high quality outcomes for all students

- providing support to the Center Director

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or higher and a teaching certificate, as well as some education experience as a teacher, administrator or program manager. Previous work experience at a Sylvan Learning Center is preferred but not required.
