Christine Dail

Center Director

Christine has earned her B.A. in Education from Cedarville University and her M.A. in Education from Bob Jones University. Christine was an instructor for Sylvan in 1997. She and her father opened a Sylvan Learning Center in 1998 and now own two centers, one in South Canton and one in Brownstown, Michigan. She is grateful to own a business that genuinely helps students achieve academic success and gain confidence.

Connie Scheel

Director of Education

Connie earned both her B.S. in Elementary Education and her M.S. in Education with Reading Specialization from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. Connie brings over 20 years of teaching experience to Sylvan. Her experiences include: Pre-K through 8th grade as a substitute teacher; private and public school elementary tutor; Pre-K through adult computer enrichment instructor; and educational travel leader for high school trips to Australia and New Zealand.

Jennine's favorite thing about working at Sylvan is seeing the process of learning start to turn on the light bulb inside the student's brain, which allows them to feel confident and motivated to learn more. It is a win-win teaching experience.
