Sylvan Works!!!

"My name is Lori Chambers. My son, Michael, had problems in math. We lived in Florida from Kindergarten to 5th grade. We moved to Va. in July. Michael started 6th grade at Seneca Ridge. While in Florida, Michael had problems in math from grades 3, 4 and 5. Two summers in a row we sent him to a math camp. He also had an afternoon math tutor for a few months during the school year. Something just wasn't clicking for him. In May of this year before school let out for the summer, we started Michael at Sylvan. At first Michael hated to go. A few months into the program he actually looked forward to going. He enjoyed many of the teachers that worked with him. The last week of Sylvan, he said he was going to miss the teachers who had helped him. He started 7th grade this year. On his 1st quarter report card, he got an A in math. He was so proud of himself. Thanks to Sylvan and all the good teachers, my son is no longer afraid to go to math class. If you are considering sending your child to Sylvan, my son is living proof that it is worth the money and time. The program works!!!!!!!"

Real improvement

"My daughter just completed tutoring at Sylvan. We had a wonderful experience and she improved her math skills by 2 grade levels:-) She had missed a lot of school last year due to illness and started to struggle. Geometry Success!

"Jackie came to Sylvan of Sterling for homework support in Geometry. She was having some trouble grasping the concepts and wasn't excited about math. After only 11 hours of instruction, Jackie took her math grade from a 33% to a 75%. We are so proud of Jackie, she now says, "I'm only a few points away from a B, I know I can get there!" With Sylvan's help and Jackie's hard work, her report card is going to show a marked improvement and her attitude is shining."
