The components that make up the total cost of an in-center or online tutoring program include: program length, tutoring subjects, hourly instruction cost and the payment schedule that best fits your family's needs.
Sylvan offers a variety of payment options to ensure your child can get the help he needs. These options include credit card, check or financing through our flexible student loan program. When choosing the financing option, monthly payments for in-center or online tutoring can be as low as $88 a month.
Sylvan's average hourly rates for in-center or online tutoring can vary by geography and the needs of your child. Because some Sylvan Learning Centers are locally owned and operated, you should contact your local Sylvan to get the most specific information about pricing possible.
For our reading and math students, Sylvan guarantee that your child will improve by at least one grade level in math or reading after just 36 hours of instruction. If the guarantee is not met, we will provide 12 more hours of tutoring free of charge*.
