Center Instructor

What you do:

• Teach. Plain and simple.
   
• Implement proven Sylvan Learning programs, helping children catch up, keep up, and get ahead.
  
  
  What we require:
  
  • State level teaching certification (this requirement may be waived for those who hold undergraduate degrees in a math related field)
     
  • Love of teaching and helping students achieve their potential
     
  • Availability from 3:20 pm to 7:35 pm Mondays through Thursdays and from 8:20 am to 12:35 pm Saturdays(any combination of days)

Administrative/Teacher Assistant

As an Instruction Assistant at Sylvan, your primary responsibilities are to:

• Answer the phone and make calls to families/schedule appointments
• Light cleaning
• “Seat” students
• Gather materials for instruction
• Assist instructors with student needs
• Office work (i.e. filing, taking messages)

We require:

Customer Service focus

Ability and comfort to work with students from Pre-K to 12th grade level

Must be available to work from 3:00-8:00 pm Mondays through Fridays and from 8:00 am- 1:00 pm Saturdays. (Seasonal position)

Test Administrator

As a Test Administrator at Sylvan, your primary responsibilities are:



• Welcoming students coming in for diagnostic testing
• Administating tests
• Computer-entry of testing information



We require:




• Flexibility and understanding that this is an “on-call” position. Number of hours per week or per day is not guaranteed.

• Ability and comfort to work with students from Pre-K to 12th grade level
