Before I came to Sylvan...

"Before I came to Sylvan, my notebooks were a mess. It was impossible to find anything. It was hard to study. Now, my notebooks are more organized, making them easier to study with outside of school. My time studying is used more effectively and I'm learning more.
I used to either leave my homework and projects to the last minute or not do them at all. Because I'm getting all of my work done at home and understanding the material, it's easier for me to stay focused in my classes. I participate more because I'm confident in my answers.
My grades have greatly improved. I never thought I would have a 4.0 in my life, and now I can say that I've had one. I used to dread getting my work back. Now, I'm taking pride in my work and I'm glad that I'm doing well. It feels good to know that I'm doing the best that I can. I know I wouldn't be doing this well if it weren't for Sylvan."

"My daughter came to Sylvan a year ago. After years of frustration and failure as a result of a learning disability, the math situation could be described as pretty dismal.
When she began at Sylvan, the first thing that I noticed was a change in her attitude. They focused on the positive, and she began to feel successful and more confident.
