Thanks Sylvan!

The Sylvan staff nominated Madalynn for a Sylvan Star because she works hard, never gives up, and always comes to class with a sunny disposition. She had improved, and continues to improve, both her reading and math skills. She is well on her way to becoming a successful independent learner - way to go Madalynn!

Madalynn problem solves, time manages, and is a hard worker at home. She is a great model and help to her older and younger brothers!

Report Card Success

The Sylvan staff nominated Katherine for a Sylvan Star because she is a hard-working, positive, and motivated learner. She now understands math concepts that were challenging for her when she first started her classes at Sylvan. Her hard work here is paying off, and her most recent report card reflects that! Well done Katherine!

James is a Sylvan Star because he has approached his Sylvan program positively and with an open mind. He is applying himself in each session and is learning a lot. We're very proud of how quickly he is progressing!

Even smart kids seek an edge at Sylvan Centre

A recent Times Colonist newspaper article highlights Sylvan's individualized programming and guaranteed success. 11-year-old Sylvan student, Lindon, explains why he chose to come to Sylvan for extra help saying, 'It helps when I know what to study...it teaches me to use my time wisely so I can do other stuff like sports or play with my friends.'
