Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

Lea King
Executive Director
Lea received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Clemson University. She taught grades 3-5 for seven years and served as chairperson for numerous committees. Before becoming the Executive Director of the Waxhaw Sylvan, Lea was the Director of Education and Center Director of the Sylvan in Bluffton/Hilton Head, SC. She has been with Sylvan Learning since 2004. Lea lives in the area with her husband Mark and her two daughters.
